Today's guest is Philadelphia-based composer Melissa Dunphy. She is an award-winning composer of vocal, chamber, and choral music, and is involved in many different initiatives advancing and advocating for the needs of composers and artists, as well as, believe it or not, archeology.
Our conversation was a little bit all over the map but kept coming back to this idea of things composers don't get taught in school that they need to know.
